About the Farm
Dan is a 3rd generation apple grower and has lived here on this farm
almost his entire life. Mom and Dad Whitney also live here on the farm and
Dad is going strong yet. He is a great help around the farm.
Mary and her kids were born and raised on the "coast". Around here in Eastern Washington anything on the other side of the mountains is the "coast". We moved here in 1997 and lived for a few months in a 5th wheel trailer until Mary and Dan were married in November of that year.
We are active in our church leading and participating in study classes. Dan plays in the church band and Mary is in the choir.
It's
been a good spring for grafting.
The Tsugaru and Honey Crisp crops look to be good this year. Those are our best selling apples at the Farmer's Market.
Stash and Felix are also feline members of the family. Amos
is our canine member.
Jessica, is now married to Lyle Mathison as of February 23rd, 2002. They, along with Lyle's daughter, Ashley, are living in Lake Stevens, WA. They hope to find property soon where Lyle can have his own shop with plenty of space. Jess is working at the Co-op Supply in Everett and Lyle is working driving truck.

David is working at
Jack-in-the-Box. He is talking of possible plans for college.
Jon is currently looking for work after trying a year at college.
