CELLAR.jpg (388529 bytes)Here is the cellar that Dan's grandpa rebuilt.  It was on the farm when Mom & Dad Whitney bought it in 1955.

TRTR36.jpg (237464 bytes)This is about a 1933 John Deere that Mom & Dad bought for $100 right after they bought the farm.  It was an old tractor then and it still runs now!  It is the tractor that Dan learned to drive on.  It has a saw on the front that they've used for years to cut up old trees from the orchard for firewood.

TRCTSEAT.jpg (217333 bytes)Here is a view of the seat from the back.  As you can see it doesn't get used a lot anymore!  But it was fall when this picture was taken and the leaves were flying!!

HLYHCK.jpg (269335 bytes)One of the last stubborn Holly Hocks of the year.  The rest of the plant is going brown but, it still spreads it's wings with color!  This particular plant was over 8 feet tall last year.  This year I pinched it back some..so it only got to 6-7 feet!  It is trying to take over my flower garden with it's children!
